PERIOD OF THE COMPETITION


From:    23rd  of April 2015 (Thursday)     - arrival of the participants
To:         27th  of April 2015 (Monday)      - departure of the participants (in the morning hours)


LOCATION OF THE COMPETITION

The competition will take place by the river Bečva in Valašské Meziříčí. The depth of the river ranges from 0,5 m to 1,5 m and the water flow value at the time of competitions, according to the statistic data, ranges between 7.0 – 9.44 m3. The riverbed is mainly covered with gravel, partly sandy with some big boulders and stone benches, especially in the bank area. The river banks are partly reinforced by hammer-dressed stone in places where the bank meets water and in some places this stone is covered by soil with trees and shrubs.
The total length of the river is 32 km from which only about 4km will be used for marking the venue. The character of the river, intended for the Trout Union Cup, is located in the salmonid water with a full occurrence of typical fish species for this zone.


WHERE WE ARE AND HOW TO REACH US

By car:
-    From the West to the town of Brno, along the motorway D1 in direction to Olomouc. Drive along the D1 along the by-pass road of the City of Olomouc to the exit Český Těšín, Frýdek-Místek and turning to the road No. 57 direction Palačov – Lešná – Valašské Meziříčí.

-    From the South from the city of Brno along  the motorway D1 in direction to Olomouc. Drive along the D1 along the by-pass road of the city of Olomouc to the exit Český Těšín, Frýdek-Místek and turning to the road No. 57 direction Palačov – Lešná – Valašské Meziříčí.

-    From the North along the road No. 47 and motorway D1 in direction to Ostrava, Nový Jičín to the road No. 57 in direction to Valašské Meziříčí.

-    From the East – Slovak Republic – across the border crossing “Horné Srnie”, and then along the road No. 57 in direction to Vsetín, Valašské Meziříčí.

By air:
-    International airport Prague – Ruzyně, Czech Republic – orbital road to the motorway D1 – direction Brno, Olomouc. Drive along D1 and the by-pass road of the City of Olomouc to the exit Český Těšín, Frýdek-Místek and turning to the direction Palačov – Lešná – Valašské Meziříčí – Total length of this route is approximately 380 km.
-    International airport VIENNA, Austria – and then by car along the route Mikulov - border crossing (approximately 60km), then direction Brno, Olomouc. Drive along the D1 along the by-pass road of the City of Olomouc to the exit - Český Těšín, Frýdek-Místek and turning to the direction Palačov – Lešná – Valašské Meziříčí (road No. 57) – Total length of this route is approximately 220 km
-    International airport Bratislava, Slovakia – then by car along the motorway D1 in direction Trenčín, Dubnica, Nemšová and then along the road No. 57 direction Vsetín, Valašské Meziříčí – Total length of this route is approximately 200 km

-    Alternatively, you can use regular flight connections to the airport Ostrava-Mošnov, Czech Republic, and then along the roads No. 58 and 57 in direction to Nový Jičín, Valašské Meziříčí. Total length of this route is about 35 km.

During the sport event the additional informative signs will be set to indicate the accommodation and competition place.

The Secretariat of the Organizer is situated in the ‘Hotel Apollo’ at the place of the event.

Scoring will be applied according to actual FIPSed rules.

ONLY TROUT CATCHES WILL BE COUNTED.

The Organizer shall receive the fully completed registration form, by the deadline of 31st March 2015.
